Arriving to Ios

Connections from Athens ports and neighbour islands

By Sea

From Athens you would have two choices to travel to Ios, either from the main port of Pireaus or from Rafina which is a closer journey from the airport.

There is also plenty of daily connections to and from Ios to the neighborly islands.

By Air

The airports that you can fly to and have boat connections to Ios are, Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Paros and Athens.

Getting to Brothers Hotel from Ios Port

For your convenience we offer complementary transfer to and from the port arrival time must be confirmed.

For those traveling light and like walking, getting off the boat walk left towards Yialos Beach, walk along the beach and then take the first right, you will see the Brothers Hotel sign follow the road for 700 meters and you are here.

" We had booked the Brother’s Hotel for 6 nights. The owners, Nikki and Lisa, are very welcoming, very friendly and will always take the time to talk with you if needed or for fun. The room is very spacious and bright, the decoration is nice and lots of storage space is available. The pool is quite large and there is plenty of room around to sunbathe or enjoy a drink. The setting is very pleasant

" Brothers Hotel is tops on Ios for many reasons, all of which start with the owners Nikki and Lisa. They are by far the most personable hosts we have ever met. Upon our arrival, Nikki sat us down on the charming veranda, poured us Greek beer, pulled out a map of Ios and continued to spend a full 30 minutes marking up the map with all the ins and outs of Ios we would need to efficiently fill three days on the island. Coming to Ios, we had a good general idea of what we wanted to do and see, but this time spent with Nikki really crystalized how and when to do it all…and more!

My boyfriend and I had been traveling around Europe for 2 months staying at over 15 different types of accommodation, but this is the only place I am writing a review for because it stood out above the rest. Nicki and Lisa are lovely people and they treat you like a friend instead of just someone staying at their hotel. Lisa gave us endless options of great places to eat and things to do while Nicki was kind enough to drive as to a nearby restaurant as we were stuck with no way to get there as the buses were full. Pool is great, breakfast yum and rooms clean and spacious.
